Douglas Trumbull interview

I remember somone posted not too long ago saying they had an video interview with D.T.? Is it possible that this could be shared?

Hope it was worth the wait. I edited the footage in 16x9 instead of 4:3. IF it annoys anyone i will re do it if you let me know.

may I ask why it appears to be...squished? I thought 16:9 was wide.

16:9 looks squished when forced into a 4:3 aspect ratio. Since YouTube is expecting 4:3, it forces it into that "squished" aspect ratio.

Too bad YouTube (and for that matter most camcorders) won't automatically letterbox a 16:9 image. :P
Yes, I really live in Los Angeles. Srsly. And yeah, life really does imitate art here. Especially now we've got those video billboards. No spinners yet. But I suppose that's next.
