Just wanted to drop everyone an update on the trailer, and the project in general. The teaser trailer has been halted by my editing machine needing service, but that's just a bump in the road. I expect to be shipping out those VHS tapes to those who asked for them in a few short weeks.

The project as a whole is going along quite well. I hope to have the website for the project live within a month. I know I've been promising that for awhile, but we're paying for this stuff out of pocket, and out pockets ain't very deep :) We'll have cast photos, behind the scenes photos, a small portion of the script for all to read, and some videos for downloading. Lots of really cool content.

Of coarse our CG maniac Treybor is back in the game, and will be posting updates and meshes, and whatever else he can in time.

I would like to say thanks to everyone for the continued interest.

do you need a web designer? i could do it for you for free if you were planning on paying someone. you can check out my site at dac1138.com to get a glimpse of what i can do.

if you need a good, cheap webhost, i would highly recommend p4host.com. they are cheap, good, and the support is excelent. (no, their not paying me to say this). ive been with them for 6 months, and have seen no server down-time, no slow-downs, and best of all, it's cheap. im going to pre-pay a 5 year plan with them. im paying somethine like $4 a month for 10GB bandwidth, 200 MB disk space (i dont really need that much yet), and they offer a CPanel. check it out. ive been searching for months for a good webhost, and this is it for me. p4host has gotten 100% positive feedback on their service by user reviews.

take your time guys nobody heres gonna tear you a new one(metephorically speaking of course) if you are a little late i think that we'd prefer a non rushed product than a hastily put together one

but thats not to say take forever...

Teaser is done

A 45 second teaser trailer featuring the work of Sean Kennedy, Ryan Workman, Bentley Ousley and Noeland Collins has been finished.

It will be posted online very soon, and VHS tapes will be shipping to those who requested them next week.

The VHS package will include the teaser trailer, our first round of lighting tests which was cut into a short film by Ryan, and some of the FX tests done by Ryan as well. Also a slide show of Sean's work, and some of Noeland's sketches, and digital art work.

Anyone who is interested, who hasn't already given me their address, feel free to PM me with it, and I will let everyone know right here when it has shipped.

Thanks,
EB

Okay, I too have been slow to pick up on this thread - I must say this all looks pretty cool. I'm also watching Titan Picture's CGI movie closely too.

Last time I looked, Bladezone had about 1400 subscribers to the newsletter - I haven't done one for some time but would be happy to resurrect it to promote both movies.

Let me know.

That would be very appreciated. Thank You. I have to say, I'm glad Titan Pictures got away from the lego idea. It had it's quirky appeal, but I think their flick is going to rock the house.

Our film is going to be live action, with CGi exterior shots, and some environments will be green screened. Very little. We are, with the help of many folks, including GaryW. attempting to recreate many of the set pieces, wardrobe (police uniforms) and props (using rick ross and coyle blasters)

It's made by fans, for fans, and everyone who contributes will get full on credit for their help. Plus our undying love and affection! :D

Oh no... Both movies will rock the house :)

That lego idea was quiet to easy and would look dumb and not challanging.
Now with cgi humans it's getting all challanging.

Btw i'm looking forward to visit soon your new website.

Keep it up!

I've been watching this topic for a while now and, honestly, have been speechless by the work that I have already seen here. Treybor is doing some amazing things with the CG work. Outstanding!! I would really like to show a few of these impressive images to a few fellow Weyland Yutani gurus if that would be okay. :D

Also, EB, PM in about two minutes. I would love to check out that trailer.

Keep up the great work, guys. This is one of the most impressive creatives that I've seen to date.
