Why are there so few of us?

Why are there so few of us? I thought 'Blade runner' was the biggest science fiction cult movie on both sides of the Atlantic. Where are they? A forum about 'Battlefield Earth' would attrack more people! Are we getting extinct? Are we an endargered species like the replicants?

yeah, i was the third person to sign, lol. now there's 4 though. i think it's mainly because it did so bad when it was in theatres. i didnt make that much money, and all the reviews (leonard maltin SUCKS!) say its a bad movie. leaonard maltin's movie review book gave it a 2 out of 5 stars if i can remember correctly. i dont think you can judge a movie like that, by the star system. i mean, a movie can have 1 star, and people will still be fans of it.

if they re-released the movie today, i think it will gross more money, and more people will see it, and we'll get more fans. do we need another petition for this too?

It's a very limited subject - I would guess that most fans will post on a board for a short while and then stop when they've exhausted the topic. I've tried to encourage a more general use for the forums (such as Sci-Fi) but it's difficult to justify when there's lots of free 'chat' services such as ICQ.

Yet, the Star Wars forums are quite alive.

Unfortunately I find I usually visit only a couple times a week. It would be nice if more people congregated to talk about BR but then again this board is free of trolls and other annoyances and is always pleasent to stop by.

We BR fans are indeed some sort of "elitist" group, aren't we.
