Hi all!

I finally got out of bed after 1 1/2 weeks of pneumonia. Not much of a vacation but the antibiotic saved me.

I did get some things done this afternoon.

a test of the Weyland Yutani complex

a test of the new buildings

Unfortunately that's all I really did.

more updates to come...

Never!

Blade Runner should never have sequel!

The director's cut was the best.

A sequel will cheapen it.

im not sure this is a sequal. im not speaking for treybor or the directors, but im pretty sure it has nothing to do with the original blade runner/the 6 replicants. its just an add-on fan-film. of course, like u said, the DC is the best one, and i agree, and nothing will probably match it.

correct. It is not a sequel. It is a fan film based in the same future as Blade Runner.

THX1138 & Patryk,

What do I do for a living? I'm a software build engineer for Sony VAIO Computers of America. I work on the Hard Drive images they put on their computers.

I am not a professional CG artist, though some day I hope to be. I learned most of the CG work from using the program, and reading books and tutorials on how the effects are done.

As for drawing, painting and textures, I have been doing 2d art since I was 6 years old. In 1995 I got my first computer and began using Windows 95-Microsoft Paint?. My first pictures were a little rudimentary and flat, but over time I became more proficient. Eventually I moved on to Photshop, Lightwave and MAX.

I have been fascinated by color, shape, form, and texture from my earliest memory. I can, and have, drawn just about anything. I have done portraits, newspaper ads, T-shirt designs, club and company logos, RPG character sketches, and various other commissions. My favorite subjects however are portraits, fantasy art, and women. You'll see a lot of what I can do just by browsing the pages on my web site.

I also have other interests. I enjoy Role-Playing Games (RPG's)--I hope to have an RPG section added to my website soon.
I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons? (in one form or another) since 1979. I have also played Champions?, Dr. Who?, Paranoia?, Palladium?, Traveller?, Snits Revenge? (don't ask), Star Trek: The Role-Playing Game?, and several others of my own creation.

Aside from art an RPG's I enjoy Science Fiction (Movies & TV), Science Fiction and Fantasy Books, Writing, Camping, and Baking.

I may also be posting some of my short stories on the website as well...

Nice Treybor.

i've also seen your website a while ago, and read this too.
i've seen all your other work, and must say that it was all amazing, you got some talents out there!

Shall we trade in textures? i got no new models for you, but maybe if THX wants it and has something to offer then we can chat.
if you like, please visit our new forum.
the link is posted in the lego movie section on this site.

Keep it up, Treybor!

We're not trying to make a sequel. No way. The only person who should ever attempt that is Ridley Scott, and I don't think he ever will. Years from now once the rights are taken from the people keeping it down, we may see a studio run sequel of some kind though. Like Alien Ressurection was made without Walter Hill, and David Giler.

We're not attempting to make something "better" than the feature film either. It's just not a possibility to make a "better" film. We're doing a very different kind of story with different kinds of characters and situations, but it all lives in the blade runner world. What we are attempting to do is invoke the mood, and dark imagery of the film, and make something entertaining that has characters you want to follow.

Different people like the feature film for different reasons. We (the film makers) are pulled in by the ideas and concepts of the world at large created by PKD, Ridley Scott, and Hampton Fancher and we just want to look around a little more in it, and have some fun. We're also pulling in some of the aliens franchise because we love those films, and it works so damn well to do it! (NO, we don't have aliens in the film just weyland-yutani) It's a fan film right? :) We can do that.

This series of films is set in MetroTampa 2019, not LA. Tampa has a large port, and in a world like blade runner, it makes sense that it would be a space port as well. It follows 2 blade runners on a review shift. Their every move and word cataloged by an internal affairs inspector. Things get crazy on the shift, to say the least.

This is the first in a 4 episode series of films that once completed will all interlock and be one big story. We're putting them on the internet for download, and we'll be giving away VHS, and DVD's free by request. Just ask for one, and we'll send it to you.

I really hope fans of the film will see this for what it is, and can enjoy it as such. So far the response has been very good.

Wow...I can't wait till it is done...even if it ends up being not so good...because like Eli said..it is about being able to look around more in the world created by these guys. I have always liked shows that borrowed from the visual style of BR. Br was so enigmatic that any attempt to clarify the story would just piss of those who had different ideas on the untold backstories. Life often has unexplained aspects and it often makes a film more realistic as a result. It is usually a good Idea to let someones brain fill in some of the details....but give enough detail that you can tell that there are a million stories to be told by each frame. That is why BR works for me...ridley's textured layering and lack explaining everything. I think everybody here want's more BR...that is why we are here. It is deep...but it lets us do the digging.

Did the LBR forum get changed to Titan pictures?

I'll need to re-register I suppose.
