There's a nice audio interview with William Sanderson about Blade Runner here:

http://www.destinationspace.net/escape/blade.asp

[ This Message was edited by: BenMund on 2003-01-28 16:23 ]

What a thoroughly endearing and self effacing guy Bill is. Maybe a missed opportunity with the questions there but i dont think thats helped by Mr Sandersons 'stream of conciousness' approach to answering them! Fascinating and lovely fella.Cheers for the link Ben.

(ahem!)

Bryant: Body identified with Tyrell as a twenty-five year old male caucasian named Sebastian. J. F. Sebastian. It got my interest up enough to try to find that independent film he mentioned he recnetly starred in. If I can find it, I'll do a quick post about it...

Im am almost 100% certain i saw Will Sanderson in a JCPenny commercial during christmas time. The commercial had Will Sanderson(i think) and that short haired blode from the FX tv show Son Of The Beach.
I am almost certain it was him because it looks like him, and it SOUNDS EXACTLY like he did in blade runner. i saw the commercial about 20 times, and the first time i saw it, i didnt see it, i heard it, i heard his voice, and my 1st insinct thought was "BLADE RUNNNER !!!!!!!!!!!!"

has anyone else seen this commercial ??? am i right ?

Anyone notice when Sanderson did his voicework on Batman that the character was almost exactly like Sebastian? I first saw BR a few years ago, and when I saw Sanderson for the first time I almost thought, "Hey, that's the guy from Batman!" Right down to the toy friends and everything....coincidence? or does anyone think the writers were paying homage?
