I'm with Deckard, but you've got to admit
Crystal Steele is hot...
----
I love the "Blade Runner Rachel", as depicted in a fan fic I read somewhere... I think it was in an online fanzine... anyone knows waht I'm talking about...? Where they had poems and stuff... The story really gets interesting in that text.

He's quiet and cool- usually speaking only through his origami, yet he can talk in various tongues. And when he does make a statement, it's always profound.

Well, I guess many fans think he's boring, but my favourite blade is Holden. Obviously a chain smoker, slick as a dandy, smooth as a machine, arrogant like hell and with a dry and subtle sense of humour! He's just SO film noir...

And Depravicus, I agree: Resch is cool. He's almost like a predator!

Replicants have more fun!
Who's your favourite Blade Runner?
A character like Phil Resch would have made a good counterpoint to Deckard in the movie, even though Deckards character was different to the novel. As I recall, Resch was of the opinion 'screw them then kill them' unlike Deckard who, in both novel and movie, had to overcome an initial disgust.
I'm going to commit heresy though and say that, since I discovered Dustin Hoffman was first approached for the role of Deckard, I have longed to know what Blade Runner would have been like with him instead of Harrison Ford. Who knows? With every movie apart from 2001 and Ben Hur being re-made at the moment, I might live to see it.
