Although in the DC is not shown where they are going, the Domestic cut (being released first)makes this pretty obvious. And Rachael mentions in both versions that she wants to escape to north.
Oh, and at the start of "Edge of Human" they live in an abandoned shanty in the woods of Oregon. Well, "they"...

_________________
Medieval Thievery? Futuristic Shocking? Assuming deckard to be a replicant, we dont know who is going to die first. The characters themselves are not stupid so we can assume they know this too. As such, I like to think, in the hidden romantic spirit of the film, that they lived happily ever after - or until their respective expiry dates.
RIP PKD.

The other night, I read the ending of what I thought to be the screenplay that ended up as what we know as "Blade Runner". Only this version ended with Deckard and Rachael "taking off" at the end, but Deckard ends up killing Rachael. It seems that they had discussed this and decided it was best to keep someone else from coming after them. Anybody ever see or hear anything out of this?
