Another BR-related reissue coming soon...

There will be a new edition of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? as a tie-in with the DVD release. There will also be a similarly packaged traduccion en Espanol. A must for the completist...and I know there are a lot of completists on this board.
Yes, I really live in Los Angeles. Srsly. And yeah, life really does imitate art here. Especially now we've got those video billboards. No spinners yet. But I suppose that's next.

While in NYC I was told at Forbidden Planet that a Comic reissue tie in was also planned.

WOW. I thought that was me in the picture on the main page. I have that same red Flash shirt. Same hairstyle. Then I remembered I don't live in NYC. lol. That place looks really fun. I could spend days there.

The likelihood of a new and improved DADoES is a long shot. Face it; PKD did not add the new material. It is market timing for BR?s popularity. Same novel with additional pictures? I could be wrong however. Steven King's novel (The Stand) had been "thinned" by the publishers. Let us hope for a new video game to replace the ailing 5 CD version.

Sounds like it will contain pics from the movie which it never did before.

Blade Runner: The Final Cut Special Editions will be supported by a large-scale national media campaign that will cross over TV, print, online and viral platforms. Promotional tie-ins include a partnership with Random House and a special book version of the film with DVD mentions and artwork; and a promotion with Xbox 360 LIVE available for owners of the HD DVD version of Blade Runner, plus other promotions and partners to be announce soon.

"and a promotion with Xbox 360 LIVE available for owners of the HD DVD version of Blade Runner"

I fall into that category. I wonder what the promo is...

I'm curious about that too, since we're both in the same situation...

If I had to guess, I'd say the promotion is for themes and gamerpics from Blade Runner.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. It certainly would be neat.
