They WILL. That's why I included that quote.

And Kipple, I'll wait till they offer all editions to preorder. Thanks anyway.

It's true, The Digital Bits is the place to go for dvd news. Even the rumours they post turn out to be true nine times outta ten.

That's a great price at Amazon. I gotta free up some space on the ol' Massacard...

Here

Pre-order folks! I did!

*Impatiently waits for Amazon.ca to put up their 5 disc set* (I know I could preorder from the US one, I just don't want to end up paying $80 when international shipping and taxes come into it, heh)

Amazon doesn't seem to be selling the Ultimate Edition yet with briefcase. But when they do...

Aren't all the 5 disc sets the briefcase ones?

Yes they are, according to the new Warner Bro.'s BR website.

The Collectors is the 4 disc
The Special Edition 2-disc
The Ultimated Collectors Edition is the 5-disc with the bling

Because there were so many versions, I got tripped up. My mistake!

Actually, there will be digipak versions of the 5-disc set for HD and Blue ray releases, but there will also be briefcase releases for the HD and blue ray editions as well.

They WILL. That's why I included that quote.

Then I hope they will soon, given that sites like Cinematical and Risky Biz have already updated us on the goings on at Comic-Con.

Absolutely, especially since Risky Biz tells us Lauzirika decided to only use alternate takes for the footage he includes:

That's good to know. I'm not quite ready to make the jump to Blue ray or HD DVD yet, so it's nice to know that I could pick up the higher def discs on their own in the future. Thanks for the heads up deleted :)

You've made it clear you don't like Digital Bits. I don't understand your resentment of the site, but I think it is unwarranted and I would ask that you please stop.

Eh? I like the Digital Bits just fine! I glance over the site every couple weeks. I hope they'll post exclusive info soon; in the meantime, I'll read sites that are--the Internet is a big place. Do you work for them or something?

Back to regularly scheduled programming...I think the Dangerous Days trailer is fantastic. And the new editing of the unicorn sequence is better and much closer to the way Sammon describes it in his book. Yay, says I.

Sir, I'm a novice gardener. I guess I misunderstood your comments then.

As for the new footage, my literally almost mouth hit the desk when I saw it. Thanks for linking us to it!

From http://www.thedigitalbits.com front page.

(LATE UPDATE - 7/30/07 - 1:30 PM PDT)
The running time for the FINAL CUT should be 117 min... not 157

Well, that's some dystopian rain on our parade... NOT!
