Identity of Pris

To those of you who have read K.W. Jeter's book "Edge of Human", what are your ideas for how Pris could be human in light of what Deckard sees in Bryant's office (photos and design information on each replicant, including Pris)? The only possibility I can imagine is that the woman that Deckard shot at J.F. Sebastian's apartment was the templant for the replicant Pris, and not the replicant itself. Personally, I don't see Pris as being human any more than I see Deckard as being...well, you get the idea. <IMG SRC="/forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

I personally didn't like that twist. I still think Pris is a rep. And didn't JF "re-build" her in this book after Deckard short her in the movie? JF may be a genetic genius, but I doubt he can bring a human back to life.<BR><BR><BR>

Did i miss something? JF was killed by Roy Batty.<BR><BR>Bryant:"Body identified with Dr. Tyrell Sebastian, JF Sebastian."<BR><BR>

Not according to Jeter's sequel - J. F. survived - he lost two or three limbs and is carried around by the bear he created.<BR><BR>Jeter really did take a lot of liberties with the movie plot in my opinion.

Thats dumb, like Batty couldnt kill Sebastian if he wanted to, and on top of that the coroners would mistake him for dead.

Also, I thought that Jeter's revelation of the identity of the replicant caught in the security barrier around Tyrell headquarters was laughable at best: a "female" Dave Holden. <IMG SRC="/forum/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif">
