$13.99 + shipping

Thanks for the update, PiperKev...cheers.
I'll add a CD or something to get the free shipping from Amazon...$25.00 for free ship.
I'm not sure how DDD ships even though I think I have ordered from them in the past but I do know Amazon ships early (before release date) and I can receive two days later.
I noticed "still" no detailed audio specs from either site. That's just too funny. :D
I'm expecting stereo as stated above.
Thanks again for the news.

I can vouch for DDD. DDD is cheaper and has free shipping anyway.

But that's your call, of course. Either way, a great thing to buy.

Hi guys. We in the UK are getting the new DVD on the 9th of Oct according to Amazon? But you in the US on the 5th of Sep!
It says that the region code is unknown does this mean that it will work on my region 2 dvd player or will i have to wait.

Thanks.

A DVD released in North America will be region one, and will not play on a region 2 player.

The UK is region 2.

I'm not sure all brands can be unlocked. Some have hidden methods of gaining the service menu to make changes to the region setting.
I have one brand I bought for PAL movies that I clicked a couple buttons on the remote in a certain order that brought up the menu to set it to region 0 or to play any region. Other brands I have I have no idea if possible.
But there are other ways around it.

I just finished it and OH MY GOD!...it is beautiful..it is better than I remember watching it at the Gearge Eastman House on the large screen. If the Hero prop had not been found, this edition would have surely had created as much interest in the Prop scene. It was like watching the movie fresh and anew. You will most likely throw away your old DVD copies or at least put them away with your VHS copies of the DC. I watched many of scenes back and forth in slow motion. Most Definately worth the $12.99 I paid for my copy at circuit city. It was marked $14.99, but somehow got $2 off. I am actualy tempted to go back and get another copy. There are absolutely no extras on the disc, but you won't mind and it will surely help you wait untill the Final Cut next year. :D  :o
