Forgive me if this topic has been brought up before, but I was wondering, who owns Bladerunner? The name itself is from William S. Burroughs, the novel is of course from Philip K. Dick, the film is owned by the Bladerunner Partnership (Hampton Fancher and David Peoples, I believe) and Warner Brothers has rights to release on VHS. Do I have that all right? Are there other owners of other parts of the Bladerunner story, etc? Who did Jeter have to get permission from to write his sequels, etc? (Again, sorry if this has already been covered.)
