A real Esper on the way? 3D from 2D still images.
Posted: Mon Jan 28, 2008 10:30 pmIt has long been theorized that a third dimension can be "unfolded" from a 2D image. Now some folks at Stanford University have made it happen. Well, they claim they have, but their servers got a righteous Slashdotting and now nobody can see their online 3D image maker. Here's the Slashdot article. I suspect if you return to it in a few days it should be up and running again.
