Deckard killed her! Maybe they decided not to go through with the actual killing shoot because then Rick might start to look like a brute who only kills women. It was either this or shortage of money, of course. Anyway, just imaging they have the scene in some vault waiting to be released as one of the deleted scenes for the third disc. Yummie!

Aaaahhhhh! Two decades after, Blade Runner keeps the good intriguing stuff coming. Once again, it totally justifies my love.

The Blade Runner Legend Continues... LIVE FOREVER BR! Whoo-hooo!

And kudos to the man who spotted this!

I REFUTE ALL CLAIMS THAT I AM MANIAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But seriously, after discovering the mysterious figure in the tub, I suddenly remembered these two stills:

I know there are other human-looking figures scattered around Sebastian's apartment, but this particular figure does resemble the body in the tub.

Perhaps Ridley just liked the looks of this particular actress/model and decided to place her in different parts of the building.

Hey, good spot - but still, is that a real woman or a dummy?

Okay- it's definitely dummy. I found those figures in the movie - they're standing outside the bottom of the lift in JF's apartment.

If you watch the scene where Pris and JF enter the lift you can see several of these figures standing in various poses...

...so it's probable that the figure in the bath is a dummy.

Shame - well it was exciting while it lasted.

maybe they're expired nexus 5 units? most likely just dummies. just a thought, since JF is a genetic designer. (who probably didnt work on anything but nexus 6)

The feet sticking out of the bathtub are definitely human and not mannequin or dummy. Too realistic for 1982 era dummy effects.

I watched the scenes again this afternoon and this woman with the head wrap is most likely a real actress (or a REALLY good wax dummy). The physical features and the skin textures are definitely not mannequin material, although they could be latex. Still in 1982 the latex dummy creation process was not as good as it is now.

Take it from an artist who's tried to replicate human flesh-- not a simple task... My vote (at least on these two details) is a human actress.

Not unless they re-sequenced the entire Bradbury 'battle' from beginning to end - Pris was shot in JF's apartment which is a least one floor below the bathroom scene...

On the directors cut DVD---It's during Deckard and Batty's fight in the bathroom. Just after Batty busts his head through the wall, the next shot shows Deckard turning to get something to defend himself with. Behind him, visible in the lower left of the screen (in the tub) is a human head, arm and two human feet (propped up on edge of tub). Both the head, arm and feet are (IMHO) human and not that of a mannequin.

But that's what this whole thread is about--is it human or is it dummy?

I think it is a combination of both...I think the 2 in the recent are repostioned in the bathroom the faux mannikin and the real mannikin.
Unless we talk to someone on the set, say perhaps Paul Sammon, we might not know.

That image is a publicity shot, not a scene from the movie - the two dummies are stood near the lift entrance in JF's appartment...
