BR Technical manual
Moderator: Wilkins Rep-Detect BR2349
I like the preceding description of the PK-D blaster. I've always felt that the blaster is a .50 caliber weapon and that the "special round" fired from the upper barrel packs a small explosive charge. I've never seen a shotshell yield such a pyrotechnic display when it hits a seemingly innocuous target.
Ben has provided much for the project and i as well as anybody else involved thank him greatly im not the one organising but im shure THX feels the same way.
quick question to ToM whats up with the folder dealies looks like everything has new posts

yeah, Ben Mund has a great mind, he's good with the project. Im getting more organized now though, now im switching over to linux, i wont have to re-install windows every weekend. i think what ill do is submit all this to bladezone and hope they'll add this tech stuff to their fan database thingy, instead of me copmiling it all and sticking it up in some free cheap webserver (my webpage )

I read all the posts from page 1 -7. Wow, people really got worked up. I mean, because of this topic, a disgruntled fan actually left the forum because he thought he was too sophisticated. Should it matter the age of the people on this site. I'm in my 30's, but I check out the forum from time to time because I love Blade Runner. It is just a movie after all, and people can agree to disagree without getting all huffy and puffy over practically nothing. "Boo-hoo, I don't belong on this site, I'm better than all these idiots, I'm an artist, they don't deserve to have my work posted here because I'm a Blade Runner Purist..." Please...
He'll be back. And we'll take him back because we know that Blade Runner is an incredible work of art, and we're all fans, right? Anyway, good luck with the tech manual.
Yeah, project update time. Sorry about the long delay, i should have warned you guys. I moved (was in louisiana, now in New Mexico, Dad's Military ).

since i havent had internet access in a while, and phone service was just connected today, i havent been able to do anything, but i have some more ideas coming.

i have an idea for the 'style' in which the manual should look like. Im compiling the brand new, *TADA* website now using linux . On the webstie will be the final compiled version of what we have so far. I also have more details on other things, such as the Esper/Kia supercomputer database. Im not good at guns and stuff, so im asking the guy who did the PKD blaster to do more excellent work on black hole weapons, militray weaponry, etc...

Also, since i have moved, there is a large library which has Blade Runner 3: Replicant night, and i read the descarition on back (didnt check it out) and read about it, looks like soon we'll have some off-world stuff and Mars wars stuff.

So alltogether, when i get the new webpage up, ill have ALL the work i have posted up there. I will try my hardest to do daily updates, but daily will be hard, since i still have school. Im gonna try and get my own webserver up, meaning unlimited bandwidth, no advertisements, and bigger space (dont know why i'd need that.)

But that is all what is coming, Kia Database, FINISHED Esper voice recognition, and i also forgot to mention this, but pretty soon i'll have a V.K. Iris scanner details. I read in a "Technology" magazine about, retinal scanners, the Eye I.D. thing, where you put your eyes up to the machine an it'll scan your eye/iris and get your I.D.. It was pretty interesting, and i just thought it could also be applied to V.K..

mmmmmmmmmk Black Hole weapons it is:

History:
Black Hole technology is relatively new the technology was first developed for space combat later after technology had avanced somewhat to allow the components of the ship based black hole weapon to be miniaturized tests were performed on these miniaturized versions of the weapon to see what effect it had effect on soft targets the results were stunning once a target was hit it even in a non vital area the target went down and compared to conventional weapons which took several shots in the same area for instance the stomach the weapon was scheduled for immediate production as a pesonal combat weapon.
more later......

ok more on the black hole weapon

History part 2:
Personal Black hole weapons were first rather large and somewhat suitable for the larger combat models but again technology advanced and now all types of combat modles were issued black hole weaponry. Eventually hand versions were made but these were unpractial for combat as the small size limited the amount of ammunition to about four. (more on why later)

How It Works:
Black Hole tecnology is very complicated but for the layman basicly when a black hole weapon is fired it sends Dim Energy a close realative to Dark Matter but produceable in off world factories this dim energy is more or less expeled by magnetic accelerators situated in the barrel
more later.... (must sleep)

hmm Dim Energy yes

How it Works pt. 2:
The Dim Energy is accelerated and then emmited out of the barrel and the Black Hole weapon has a range of about 100 meters before the Dim Energy dissapates but this depends on the size of the weapon and strength of the magnetic accelerators.

What its Made out of:
The Black Hole weapon has very few metal parts only the barrel and magnetic accelerator mecanism otherwise composites make up the fame, ammo container, grip, ect.
Now some smaller experimental modles use completely composite material and use electricity to accelerate the Dim Energy these versions are completly undetectable by most sensor scanners and are HIGHLY ILLEGAL very few people out of the military R&D dept. even know about it but unfortunatly a test version was stolen off of a colonist during a transit ride apparently the replicants on board killed all human passenger it is then believed that the weapon was discoverd and stolen by one of the replicants.

what am i forgeting anybody?
