Well, please ask them who directed and produced it. I doubt it is an official sequel (which I don't want to be made ever), because the copyright holders of Blade Runner are very jealous about it (excepting that Jetter stupid novels). Guess that someone made it... someone who can write his/her fanfic and then film it. I'd like to have those resources, hmmm...

I reviewed this film several months ago. Read my review if you like.
I don't think the film is crap and indeed when it was put for some serious awards, it appears not everyone else does either! However, it is definitely to be viewed in the spirit of a fan fiction rather than trying to be a commercial sequel. What I would say is that it took me a few viewings to get some of the ideas in it. (Although I should say, that this was made easier by virtue of the director having sent me a videocassette before he'd put it on iFilm.)

Actually, I don't think it is very easy to watch any sort of movies with a 56k connection. At one time I had that and I often gave up trying.

Anyway the film is worth trying. It has some significant flaws, but it is a serious effort at a proper short film and shouldn't be dismissed out of hand.

I wish to retract my first post it was posted during one of my weaker moments anyways i watched it again and talked via email to the director and have found a new respect for the film. I myself whish to one day become a professional film maker and with a couple short films under my belt truly realize the difficulties in making a film so while i wont recogmize it for a Blade Runner sequel i will recognize it as a terrific fan film

It just occurred to me, I should mention that this isn't the first attempt at a "Blade Runner sequel". There is a film called "I.K.U." which starts at the point where Deckard and Rachael get into the elevator. But from the first moments. it rockets off at a completely different tangent ... all to do with sex. Lots of sex. Of all types.
