Fancher Draft December 22, 1980

Hi All

I thought this may be of interest

http://io9.com/5181048/blade-runners-or ... -replicant

as it says in the article it may be fake but have a look
Deckard: I don't work here anymore. Give it to Holden. He's good.

Bryant: I did. He can breathe okay as long as nobody unplugs him.

he also says it is a glue binding, but it isn't. It is a Velo bind, that can be unbound and rebound easily at any Kinkos(fedex office). Otherwise I will have to look to see if I have any info on it. The story boards intrigue me even more. I have yet to see a full set or the second part of one of these.

Great find, even if it's not real.

So this is actually the first Peples enriched draft of the script, which almost caused heart attack to Fancher on Christmas eve? Good. :P

I hope you do not think that i am a "been there done that" person because i really do not want to come over that way, but i did make reference to this script a couple of years ago as i do have the original. I did make reference to the Brother thing then.

You may be interested to know that i have a original script before Peoples that does not include Gaff, also Rachel nows she is a Replicant when Deckeard goes to visit Tyrell, he actually suggests taking Rachel to help him track down the others. The ending is also completely different and ends with a shoot out.

That's actually closer to the Phil Dick novella. Rachael helps Deckard hunt down the androids, in spite of the fact she's realized she's an andy too.
Yes, I really live in Los Angeles. Srsly. And yeah, life really does imitate art here. Especially now we've got those video billboards. No spinners yet. But I suppose that's next.

In DADoES she didn't know that she was an android until the Voight Kampff test either. Or to be exact one more question after they seemed to have him fooled that she was human and the test failed on her, because of where she grew up. They wanted the test discredited. But she didn't know for sure until then.
