Snatcher has so many parallels to Blade Runner

check http://www.snatcher.co.uk/ for links between the game and the movie.

It's only playable in english on the sega mega cd. Available for US and Europe.

I finished the game yesterday and It soooo much blade runner. For me it makes more fun than play the original blade runner game from Westwood.

the most funniest link to blade runner was this scene here

If you're in a place claled alton plaza or something like that. You can buy noodles and the conversation is excatly like in blade runner. " No, TWO TWO FOUR" :D

I actually played (and completed) Snatcher before I saw Blade Runner. You can play it on an Emulator on the PC if you don't have a Sega Mega CD.

Appears the "downloads" were removed from various sites, at the game owners request. Although "seeds" are around.

Here's an interesting bit more about the game: http://community-2.webtv.net/LiquidSnak ... page9.html

Here's the game's intro.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuyUShtcn94

I attempted to create a "Playlist" of the vids... but I only have "Act 1" so far. But, go to the following link for complete gameplay of Snatcher... for those who have no intention of playing the game, but may be interested in seeing it in action.

I had the Sega CD version Snatcher back in the day!

You can emulate it if you look hard enough.

It was a great game!

Crazy thing about this article is they did not mention the best Cyberpunk/Blade Runner influenced games. Deux Ex is a series that all Blade Runner fans should try. The third one is currently in development!

E.Y.E is a FPS/RPG that mainly focus on a solo/coop campaign. Its main sources of inspirations are Syndicate Wars, Deus Ex, Wh40K, Diablo2, Blade Runner, GITS. quite a list to say the least.
