Plus, I have complete and total faith in Scott's handling with this film.

The snake dance was a scene that was supposed to be filmed, but wasn't for budgetary reasons. The chance that now he may have filmed a scene he always wanted to film excites me.

And yes, that camcorder boot saddens me.So many other workprints get nice releases. I mean, look at Apocalypse Now, for goodness sake!

I agree with this 100%...all in all it doesn't matter to me. I still have my other versions and more in this case will only add to what I feel, as long as Jar jar doesn't show up anyway.

I read with great excitment that there may be a big bash in LA for the Premiere later this year. If that is the case is there going to be any chance of us fans getting a ticket? Can Bladezone use it's muscle to get a group booking perhaps?
I know that i have seen the info somewhere but now it seems to have gone.

Found this today:
"Blade Runner: Final Cut will arrive in 2007 for a limited 25th-anniversary theatrical run, followed by a special-edition DVD with the three previous versions offered as alternate viewing. Besides the original theatrical version and director's cut, the expanded international theatrical version (Final Cut) will be included. The set will also contain additional bonus materials. FC will include added & extended scenes, added lines of dialogue, new SFX, and it will also contain newly shot scenes.

The unofficial date mentioned by Ridley and Warner Brothers is late September early October. It will be shown at the Venice Film Festival, end of August, so hopefully that means it will be running in theaters here mid-September.

The boxed set will probably drop in early `08.

The five-disc Blade Runner set is $78.92 and four-disc is $34.99. Blu-ray and HD DVD versions of the five-disc configuration also will be available day and date.

I am also trying to confirm that a preview of the film was shown in London this week. Will post as soon as i find out for sure.

Youtube chatter.

Think about that for a moment. Youtube chatter has NO legitimacy, ever.

Vangelis will be, and shall always be, the composer for this film.

Yeah i guess i just wanted to know if they were using any more Clint Mansell in the film or if it was just for the trailer...

On the subject of the trailer tho i dont know if i like it or not really....like someone said it tries to hard and has a schlocky kind of vibe in bits hmmmm as long as the film is ok i guess

There's a Robocop trailer that uses Terminator music, but that music isn't in the movie.

I would fully trust Scott.

At the comic-con panel discussion Ridley seemed to indicate that there wasn?t much he wanted to change (the bit where he says he sat down w/a pad to watch the film and by the end the pad was empty)
So I guess what my question is for you guys, for anyone that might know is?other than what we already know has been altered (zhora, unicorn, dancers ect..) what else has been altered/deleted ect????
