BladeZone Flavour of the Month Music
Hello again,
I do music compositions as a hobbie and I've submitted in two pieces to BladeZone that are Blade Runner related. The two tracks are called "Midnight Patrol" and "Fourth Sector". However there are more pieces related to Blade Runner under work.
A brief description of the submitted songs:
"Midnight Patrol" is a new age piece. The song is about a LAPD Police Officer doing routine police patrols alone in his spinner, flying over the city during night.
"Fourth Sector" was intended to balance out the quietness. I added in samples of a Geisha Singer and later shrowded with subtle however frightening electronic effects. But in a few seconds the dark silence is broken unexpectingly as the listener is introduced to a moderate paced action-suspense cue indicating that the Blade Runner is on the hunt.
Overall, I tried my best effort to include Vangelis's New Age influences into these pieces but I also try to include my own style as well.
Originally I was planning to do a personal project (CD) just for the fun of it, but had difficulty finding the inspiration and time to do it. It's been 5 years since I've made a self promise to create a piece but I had several setbacks with time, work, and school.
Hopefully BladeZone can host the two pieces I've submitted. I've noticed that the site no longer hosts the "Flavour of the Month" thing anymore. Has it died out?
