Scratch build Spinner model

Hi Guy's,

I've just joined the group and I would like to ask for help please.
I wish to build a Spinner Model from scratch as I can't afford a garage
type kit like the Monsters In Motion one. I really need photos of the cockpit area and the underside of the car.
Please If someone wouldn't mind taking some photos of their model for me
It would be a great help.

Sincerely

Tom :D

Tom,

I have 5 MB of spinner reference files. Do you want all of them (exterior and interior)?

Or would you prefer just the interior reference pics 1MB?

Let me know...

Hi,

A couple of freiends and I were thinking about doing the same thing...only in a large scale.

How accurate is the Dokuhon book?

Very Accurate. The schematics are taken from the actual full scale spinner cars, and model props.

Cool, because we want to build a 1/6 scale version.

We thought about doing a true Studio Scale version (1/4) but saw the size as impractical.

Well, the Spinner IS the project.

I am a professional sculptor and model maker so I prefer 3d that I can touch. I am not sure if we will make more than the one each for ourselves, but the plan is to make a very large accurate model.

It will big enough to fit my figures too.

:)
