Blade Runner site links

Okay, it's about time BZ resurrected it's links page.

So, give me all your Blade Runner site links - that is, sites that are permanent BR sites, not articles about Blade Runner.

I'll get the obvious one out of the way:

www.brmovie.com

There's no prizes for the most links, in fact there are no prizes - get over it :D

Also, I would like a few comments comments about each site - perhaps a couple of positive points about it (I'm not posting any negative points).

I'll credit comments to those that make them. :)

(My personal favourite!)

Fusion Anomaly
This site contains MANY treasures for the mind. In the case of Blade Runner, "it" has roots and connections beyond our individual thinking. Everything to do with Blade Runner from the movie, to songs inspired by the movie to morphology and to Nirvana.

Enjoy!

Hey, Kipple, I'm an habitual of FusionAnomaly. Very interesting site... some people get all amazed when they see a site that works just like the internet was supposed to work to begin with...

Most of the time I check the FusionAnomalog. I second this recommendation, even when it is not a website exclusively about BR.

Study Guide for Philip K. Dick: Blade Runner (1968) {DADOES}

This guide was created to help students prepare for literature classes. They are meant to serve several functions.

1) Some of them provide background to help readers understand what they are reading and why they are reading it (the historical status of the works).

2) They provide useful information, explaining allusions, obscure terms, etc. in the texts and provide translations of passages written in languages other than English.

3) They try to focus students' attention on issues that will be discussed in class.

Gosh, you lot have been busy - I suppose I better get a links page together...

...if anyone wants to comment on the quality and content of these sites, please feel free. The 'reviews' would have to be short (let's say, no more than 5 sentences) and perhaps we could have some sort of rating system. Nothing elaborate, just an indication of quality.

Of course, if you think that's a bad idea, then let me know.

i dont think geocities sites should be listed. ive got nothing against geocities, tripod, or yahoo, but the free websites that have limited bandwidth and space tend to not be updated by their owner. people dont pay for their webspace, so they dont feel obligated to update, so the pages just die out after a while, creating "broken links". its just a hassle to go back and filter out the broken links. that's just my opinion, trying to save time.

treybor pretty much has this topic covered, lol. i cant suggest anything he already said, although there was one site i found a while back that was an awsome anlysis of the movie. let me go back through my old backup cds and see if i can dig up the link.
