So... How often do you watch BR?

I used to watch it probably once a month... now I'm probably around 3 or 4 times a year. How about you? What's your BR watching frequency?

Please, don't retire me if this has been asked a hundred times already, I'm new here.

I recently saw Blade Runner for the first time in 15 years, found it on DC, fantastic, was thrilled, and it is so much better then the DC version, never liked that one, i have the DC on DVD but to be honest i dont think i will be watching it anymore, gonna go with my .avi format untill i see a DVD with 5:1 with the 1982 version.

I'd say 3-4 times a year.

Twice a month... probably because I'm doing the visual effects for the fan film... before that it as about twice a year.

i cant sit thru the whole thing anymore , if i stick it on at all i have to be feeling pretty low and sorry for myself then i'll just watch bits but usually not the whole thing...sad but true

Just watched it last night. It was on tv and it was the director's cut. I'm still not really fond of that stupid "Unicorn Sequence"...horribly ripped right out of Legend. You can tell it's the extra footage too. Some may not like the VO being in there...(especially Ridley himself)...but I think it only adds to the movie's overall character. He's a Blade Runner cop...trying to slove a crime...very crime noir and a throw back to the old 40's and 50's crime films.

Every time I got a new projector, TV (and hopefully fairly shortly) a plasma Blade Runner is the first thing I watch even though the current DVD isn't the best. I suppose I watch it 3 times a year and countless times in my dreams.

I saw it first as a Teenager and loved it. Then years went by, and I saw it again once here and once there but kind of random -- maybe once every 3 years. Next, I spent eight years of my life working for a (great) guy who happened to have named his racing sailboat "Blade Runner," which caused me to get back into again. Since then, I've probably seen it once every other year -- either on TV or the DC DVD I bought some years back. Just recently, I heard some radio disc jockeys talking about it, and randomly two days later, it was playing on TV. So, I ended up watching half on TV (OC) and half on the DVD (DC) -- I switched after the commercials started getting annoying. Then I was inspired to DL the OC, and watch parts of it again, LOL! Anyway, I'm kind of burnt on it again, so it'll probably be a while before I touch it again anytime soon.

BTW, I have a sweet 50" widescreen LCD HDTV, and although it's awesome watching BR on it, the BR-DVD has to honestly be one of the worst Film-to-DVD transfers I have ever seen on my TV. And OMG, the "wiggly" thin black bars on the left and right sides (not the letterboxing, there is a freakin' border all the way around the image) are unbelievably annoying. I can't wait until the SE comes out because, god willing, the transfer will be "criterion quality."
