Principal photography begins today!!!
I lay awake at night gazing up into the night sky, looking at the stars and the moon as I think to myself: "Where the hell is my ceiling?!?"

Sha, You level of skill is not an issue. The important thing is the desire and the frame of mind. If you want to help, you are welcome to. Everyone is artistic in their own way.

The first day of shooting went pretty well. The second day, not so well. :)

We'll be shooting for the next 3 weekends solid. Be sure to check out Treybors site for behind the scenes material!

A quick update on the Blade Runner Chronicles, our little fan film. :)

We are beginning to post some photos from shooting, so keep an eye out for those. Also, the teaser trailer for the first episode, titled "The Skin Trade" will be online very soon. The fan films dedicated website will be live shortly after the first of the year as well.

ENJOY!

ehh, i hate the term fan-film. fan-film sounds so....imature. i prefer indie film.

you're blade runner indy film. fanfilm just sounds childish, especially in reference to blade runner.

Yeah, it's not my favorite term either, and I'd rather not use it. The thing is, it kind of protects you. In a strange way it'll keep the studios off your back, unless your trying to sell the film. Then you're lookin' for trouble.

I was against using the term at first. I don't know who was responsible for coining the phrase, but it has stuck. "Fan Film" is an instant description.

i say you should just change the name entirely to something like "tales of the future: unit 995" or something. sort of like the "tales from the...." star wars books. (tales form the mos eisly cantina, tales from the empire, tales of the bounty hunters, etc..."

dont even use the blade runner name unless its a small mention in the films. basically just use the world ridley created (this is actually another forum post we discussed possible "sequel" ideas)
