What is that reflective panel in the Moonbus photo? What does it mean? What do the origami animals in the endings represent? What about the lighter and the goggles? What is their purpose?

And also, for you ppl who prefer a less depressing Blade Runner, edit the properties of the Blade Runner shortcut in the Start menu and add SITCOM or SHORTY after BLADE.EXE. (Example: ...BLADE.EXE SHORTY)

[ This Message was edited by: Kiff on 2001-11-26 21:44 ]
High,Kiff. The SITCOM,SHORTY thing doesn't work with my game Centauro and I discussed this somewhere in here before.I've tried a hundred times...oh well.
I believe the goggles are to clue you that Izzo iza replicant. That damn moonbus panel is very perplexing though. I've always wondered about that myself. Anyone have any answers?

I know that if you start a game in normal Blade Runner, save, change to SITCOM or SHORTY, the effects won't show until you start a new game. And that daaaaamn panel. I've tried staring at it for an hour to see if something pops up. But no dice. I tried looking at it like it was one of those Magic Eye things but that doesn't work either. My guess is that the background where you see that pointy golden thing that looks like a mountain is actually the Tyrell building. I can recognize the flaming barrel and what I think is the Tyrell building but I have no idea what else there is. You can almost see the security guard from the Tyrell building standing there (Notice: hair, armguards, uniform). But I can't really tell. It looks different in some variations of the game.
Noone ever brought this to discussion, but damn it if I haven't got my eyes dry and red of staring at that moonbus panel. The most acceptable conclussion I've got (or something I want to think to get some peace at it) is that you see something like the reflection of a beam being projected from inside the moonbus, would it be from a hologram machine or the like, and that's what makes Ray appear in the pic... We should have an email address of one of Westwood guys so we can ask them (there has been a time now from the game release, no?) Anyone could get it?

Damn it! I just uninstalled my BR game after having it in my `puter for months. I guess I should just leave it alone, and just come to accept my little runner icon on my desktop permanently
You see, I've been trying to get on with my gaming life. SILENT HILL 2,among others, has me and my PS2 losing sleep lately, but I can't get away from my PC and BR. It's still a fantastic game and based on my fav film.......GOD I LOVE BLADE RUNNER!!!

I just took a look at the reflective panel again. It seems very likely that the "glow" that came from inside the moonbuss might have been a projector. It fits right in plot too. It is possible that it was a joint effort on Guzza and Clovis' part to try convince McCoy that he's a replicant. Is this proof that McCoy is not a replicant? Or is it simply another plot twisting factor to confuse the player?
Sometimes McCoy(Ray,not Matt ) is a rep for various reasons. One being that he can be stung by scorpions and yet live.
If you guys are correct about the panel, it's very strange that it's always there no matter what the scenario...hmmm.

The possibility that Clovis may have used a projecter to form the image of McCoy at the moonbus troubles me. Is he doing that because he is certain that McCoy would never believe that he is a replicant? Or is he doing that because he knows McCoy is not a rep? He might be trying to use McCoy to further his plans. Remember on the rooftop of the Bradbury Building, he said: "He's not a problem, he's an opportunity." Did he mean that tricking McCoy into thinking he was a rep would help him and his rep buddies escape?
i think that the answer to the prb is again based on how u ve played the game...in detail when u play as a rep symp if u leave earth with the reps in the moonbus, in the cut scene it has a point where clovis torgues up the ship and past it theres the moonbus photo perhaps meaning that the photo is real and ray is a rep and that reflection is some sort of anomaly caused bythe radiation or something...or if u play as a br a real br it means that u trust yr own memories and etc so its the glitch of the trick used to project yr own image in the photo
