Philip K. Dick memoir censorship

Hey, has anybody heard about the controversy with the memoir "A Family Darkly"? It's written the daughter of Philip's second wife who apparently spoke to Dick a great deal and is supposed to present a new angle to his life. But the Dick estate is fighting to keep it from being published. They're not saying it is false or inaccurate but that it might hurt their royalties or something. It seems pretty messed up to me since Philip was such an advocate against censorship. Anybody have any more information on this?

The family's opposition just makes the book more appealing.

Paperback: 224 pages
Publisher: Carroll & Graf (February 9, 2006)
Language: English
ISBN: 078671638X
Book Description:
While at the height of his agoraphobia, Philip Dick formed an odd bond with the child of his second wife?author Anne Mini. Finding herself alone at a young age?due to an overworked mother and a father dying of cancer?Mini turned to her mother's first husband, Dick, for companionship. The two spoke only on the telephone, yet by indulging one's loneliness and the other's paranoia, they came to construct a fantastic and fictive biography for the famously elusive sci-fi writer that, strangely enough, helped generate not only a majority of the accepted biographical information currently available on Dick, but functioned as source material for some of his acclaimed final works, including VALIS.

PKD's state are shooting themselves in the foot, drawing lots more attention to this book with their intended censorship/blockage. Being about this author in particular, one can not avoid thinking of the forbidden book in The Man In The High Castle, and the recurrent theme of those "parts of /realities" that some people don't want to be known in many PKD's novels and tales.

Interesting. I think that book might contain some interesting views, making Dick even more controversial person.

(I hope it's nothing like of W. Burroughs' case who has killed his wife..)
