As I don't use torrent, this is an urgent call for anyone here who uses it, to go to the link below and download this, and... ejem, maybe put this here in .mp3, or contact the man, since he says he doesn't have space... well, I don't know, we GOTTA HAVE THIS!!!!:

David sez, "A friend loaned me a bunch of tapes, and one of them turned out to be an audio interview of Philip K. Dick, interviewed in his home. You can hear the television on and his kids playing in the background. Very relaxed and chatty. I transfered it to mp3s. Everything you hear is exactly what was on the tape. I don't have a lot of server space, so I'll have to post the mp3s a batch at a time. I wouldn't mind if someone wants to provide greater hosting capabilities."

well, i was trying to try out a new linux distro and ive been told bit torrents are faster than ftp/http downloads, so i tried downloading it. slow as hell. because of the way bit torrents work, it may be impossible to download these. if you dont even want to try, ill see what i can do, and maybe ill put them on my website for everyone to download.

my linux download was slow because it was about 2 months out of date. the point is, the downloads get slower and slower and even impossible to obtain as a file gets older and unpopular. so if nobody but 10 people download this file, basically you're not going to get these mp3s.

BitTorrent files are hardly ever as fast as HTTP transfers. I'm getting 60kb/s though (i can only get 75 max). Even torrents from suprnova or wherever that have loads of sources can be slow because the place where the .torrent's hosted can't handle all the connections.

j/k. the page must be down from all the traffic. i found them on an http site, which is how i heard tracks 1-3. just do a google search, that's what i did. i think i searched "philip k. dick mp3 interview"

What have I done...? Something went terribly wrong. Did anyone got all of the mp3 files? I only got the first 3, damn dialup access.
