Im still trying the torrent. There appears to be some progress, but nothing is certain yet. According to the guides and tutorials Im doing everything correctly, so I have no idea whats wrong with it.

http://www.torrentspy.com/torrent/76631 ... Soundtrack

try it now. Its uploading to someone right now but it says there's 0 seeds. But I'm uploading.

It seems to be working, because there's 3 peers now and I'm uploading like crazy. I hope people seed it. It's up on TorrentSpy.

I fixed the problem. I started the torrent, replaced the temp files by the ones I got off rapidshare, checked it, and I'm seeding it as well.

4 peers, 0 seeds. I'm uploading at an average of .8 kb/sec. I have thigns I need to do with my computer so the torrent will be down for a day or two. No longer than 2 days for sure.

Hey THX could I just ask how did you manage to rip the soundtrack from Frank Klepacki's flash website? I tried to do this once but it never worked. By the way, the love theme track in both the torrent and the zip file u uploaded to that site doesnt work in media player.

You can't "rip" the music from the site, you can record it using an average wave recorder like Wavepad or Audacity, then encode the files as MP3s.

I know, i dont know what went wrong with it. The love theme worked on my computer, and then I just downloaded the .zip from rapidshare and the love theme doesnt work, so I'm scratching my head. I "ripped" the files just by using a program that records all audio output from a computer. I think it was called river past or something. But That's basically how I did it.

Shhhhh, don't let Frank Klepacki know I ripped it. I was talking with him about making an official game soundtrack and he says he's not allowed to do that or sell any of his music, so he hosts them on his site for everyone to listen to. But what if we wanted to listen to them on our mp3 players? I fixed that question...

Sorry guys, but I'm taking down the torrent. No one else is seeding, and I know that I've uploaded it to at least 50 people. It's pathetic. This isn't what BitTorrent is about.

There is a way of doing it without any recording software.

Do you want to know how?

I one other way, but at the time I "ripped" these (a year and a half ago) I didn't know any other methods. But in case anyone else is interested, you can spill the info if you want.

OK.

Clear your internet chache/ temp files.

Open up your temp folder (where all of your internet files are autometically downloaded to)

Go to frankklepacki.com

Let's say you want to download "Hell March". Click on the song, and let it start to play.

Check your chache. There should be a file in there called "123.fk" (don't remember HM's actual #). Copy that file to your desktop.

Rename it "Hell March.swf" (without quotes, duh).

Open up an SWF file converter program. Free copies of this type of software can be downloaded off the internet.

Open up "Hell March.swf" and play it. It will open it up in an external player. At this point, I believe that a copy in MP3 format has been placed somewhere, either in the SWF converter folder or where the SEF file was. Anyway, that's it.

This process does take a while, but if you got nothing else (like me) it works.

Of course, if this is the same process taht you did, my mistake and apologies.
