1. Deleted scenes....show them!!
<BR>-The only deleted scene was the hospital scene, and I don't think that will be incluede (but I'm not sure)
<BR>2. Give the user a choice between the director's cut and the orig theatrical release...dammit!
<BR>-Yeah..... but tha'll probably mean 2 differnt disks. 2 disks = more money <IMG SRC="/forum/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif">
<BR>3. Put the made for TV documentaries "Making of BR" and "On the Edge of BR" on it.
<BR>-If you ask channel 4 nicely, mabie (I hope so)
<BR>4. Interviews with Ridley would be nice
<BR>-I think he might do something like that (hes nice in that way)
<BR>5. More shots of Joanna Cassidy's breasts! 8^)

<BR>TF: Will there be any new cuts of the film, including the hospital visit?
<BR> RS: The hospital visit was not worth it. I revisited it and I took it out. Where we have it now with my cut, is right. The only puzzling question is when they drive off happy at the end, which I still think is bloody silly.

I'll only be happy when I can access every single piece of information relating to Blade Runner - every frame of film every shot, every picture ever taken and every sketch and script ever written - you could probably fit all that on a single DVD (if you use both sides and layers - 17GB)
<BR>
<BR>Oh and I'm paying no more than $30/?20

I wish they'd redo that dream sequence, where you see the unicorn twise (if you've read 'Future Noir: The making of Blade Runner' you'l know what I mean).

I was really disappointed at the BR directors cut DVD, I hope the 20th anniversary is better

they totally need to add in the violence/gore that was missing from the director's cut initially. seeing the hospital scene would be a plus too.
<BR>
<BR>pardon me for being a little clueless... but are they going to put out another edition of the film? i've seen the box set in stores, but it didn't impress me enough to buy it.

I want to see a copy with the voice-overs re-done with the scripts written by Fancher and Peoples, not Bud Yorkin's writer. Read Future Noir and you'll see some samples of what these are, they are witty and stylistically correct with the movie. I think even Ford would approve!

<BR>[As one of the many many persons who were enraptured by the original version & literally hung on everything that was said & done, it came as a big shock when I went to see the 'directors cut' for the 1st time. I felt cheated, the end was missing & perhaps a lot of us, after being totally engrossed in the film, appreciated the happy ending for various reasons including maybe relief at getting back to normality.
<BR>I reiterate some of the others quotes re DVD we must have 5.1 surround sound & lots more extras & interviews, particularly on the original version, pretty please with sugar on top clean the ******* car, sorry I digress but I'm incensed at the fact its gone unaddressed for so long; 20 yr anniversary sounds good time to JUST DO IT!]
