Good Stuff.

Ive spoke to the Author "kazuchoice さんからメッセージが届いています:" who is happy to send me on DVD the full and finished article.

For me personally, its the kind of cut that i would have loved to have taken on. as soon as it arrives i`ll do a feature. perhaps i should do a feature now to get interest growing?

You could do a general feature on fan edits.

I`d be more than happy to do such a thing, ive also seen an extended unicorn sene on youtube where somebody has cut in more from Legend. Works pretty well.

I think my own personal belief of any special edition, is the extras. In BR's case it was the restoration and the clearing up of errors, and i have to say that i was dissapointed that the FC was pretty much the same running time - not some 30 mins longer!

That sad, FC is Ridleys vision, and a vision we have to respect. My vision would be to clarify more scenes with either extra scenes or perhaps longer running time. White dragons example of Leon hanging from the ceiling get 10/10 from me.

I guess that for somebody like Sir Ridley Scott to cater for my film tastes would leave him with quite a smaller audience, I would use longers shots (resulting in overkills or leaving the audience with info they already know) and pack the newer version with as much data as possible.

If i was able to get my hands on the same footage Kazuchoice had, there is no doubt in my mind that i would be firing up my Adobe software and setting aside a few months to edit my own version. I wish him all the luck in his endevours, and hope to see that DVD on my front doorstep soon.

Get your hands on the same footage...what do you mean? Everything he used is from the 5-disc set, in some way, shape, or form. The Leon ceiling thing was clever editing on his part.

What 30 minutes would you restore to BR?

the leon apartment scene is very cleverly edited, the extension to deckard being picked up (spinner shots) and various others i would have kept, purely as they give the audience a fuller glimps of whats going on. Im not against the odd bit of voice over either.

im very happy with the authors version - just think how much Ridley could have saved in restoration wages!

You talk like R. Scott has a problem with adding footage to movies.

Have you ever seen the extended cut Kingdom of Heaven?

How to download???

Hey I'm new here. Just wondering how exactly can you download this? I want to make my own cut of the film, but I need to get the footage from somewhere... so I thought downloading the White Dragon Cut would be a good idea. Yeah.

It's not... or wasn't a download. It was a stream.

There are ways of capturing streaming media from the internet...ask Google.

:D Hey thanks! I feel like such an idiot now. The moment I searched for it on Google I got it. So, I've got a few ideas on what I want to edit. Just wondering if any of you want to contribute an idea.
...You'll be in the credits! :?

Pretty much everything in the White Dragon cut is on the 25th anniversary set and it's extras. They did manufacture a couple scenes, also from footage on the disc set.

Is there any site I can download and watch the White Dragon Cut from? For example from Rapidshare? Rather than watching it off a website.

Thank you.

when the full clip is running within mediaplayer/quick time. look in the internet temporary folder and you will find the full file there. you can cut paste or literally drag it t othe folder of you choice.

The author of the white dragon cut has contacted me and is sending me a full copy. does anybody else wish to do a review with me?
