Hi there, as far as I know there is only a limited 5 DVD Suitcase collectors edition available incl. german synchro.

Are there any plans for a german HD DVD / Blu Ray Suitcase release ?

To be sure I've ordered an American Version of the hd dvd suitcase as it's region free anyway. I'd really have a 5er box in german too.

According to info i received some months ago, the USA will be the only country with the briefcase.

I have seen wiith my own eyes (Not Chews) the Australian Briefcase as they were given away as lucky draw prizes at a BRFC screening I attended. Remember it was the aussie company ezydvd thay by mistake put up its webpage ad early of the briefcase-and than promptly set upon by warners.

Its technically released on the 19th here.

I Stand corrected. My info came from Warner UK at the time, obviously the decision was changed although the reason i contacted them in the first place was because of the ezydvd and American briefcase and nothing in europe except the tin. I asked why Europe did not have the case and they said no one is getting the briefcase except USA.

well there is one available from amazon (germany) but as I said only with DVDs and no high resolution material.

Wondering why they just put it on 1 format , would have been easy to bring it out on HD / Blu Ray
