i wouldn't be that complaining. there are people who's gonna wait till next December 18th to get it. there are people who had no chance to see it at theaters. there are people who, though they have it ordered from amazon.uk, they'll have to order it again from France just to have the italian dubbed version (huh???).

but, at the bottom of it all, there are people who don't know Blade Runner at all. now they're truly wasted souls...

It seems he's one of the lucky people who has the privilege to discover the Ultimate collector's edition the same day of its UK release and two weeks before the USA.
I wonder if it's really a metallic box as it looks to be in the photo.

That does not look like a "Deckard Briefcase with Spinner like we get here in the US. Are there multiple versions of the 5-disc set, or is that the UK version or something?

Indeed there are several versions of this Ultimate collector's edition. As far as I know until now there are this Uk version with the tin package and the french one with a different artwork and cardboard box.

That metal box looks pretty hot, though. I like it. Maybe after the briefcase edition is sold out in the US they'll do a reprint in the metal box.
Yes, I really live in Los Angeles. Srsly. And yeah, life really does imitate art here. Especially now we've got those video billboards. No spinners yet. But I suppose that's next.

I'm in the UK, but HMV and Royal Mail screwed up.

Like I should've expected anything else.

EDIT: The stupid b'stards have tried to deliver it today. I'm at ****ing work today. ](*,)

I was off work YESTERDAY.

That's why I paid for "special delivery".
