That's GREAT news! Maybe the US will follow the example by releasing it in more theaters throughout the nation. :D :D

A wider release would rock. As evidence they might be planning one: there will be film prints struck of the Final Cut.

I suppose if NYC and LA are consistant sellouts WB might smell money and go for it.
Yes, I really live in Los Angeles. Srsly. And yeah, life really does imitate art here. Especially now we've got those video billboards. No spinners yet. But I suppose that's next.

Hi everyone, New member.

Does anyone know what theatres in LA will be showing the Final cut? I've searched Fandango and Moviefone and found nothing.

It will be at The Landmark in West LA. It's not the ArcLight or (better still) the Million Dollar Theatre, but it will do.

If you go to the Landmark Theatres site you will see it's a coming attraction, but ticket sales haven't started yet. Dammit.

The Odeon cinema chain have said that they will not know which or how many theatres the Final Cut will be in until the 13th Nov.
Cineworld may know tomorrow, will keep you informed.

50 day laps time for UK fans.. :(

I was of the opinion that Film companies had pretty much changed the release times to coincide with world wide releases?

Years ago, the US always got Cinema releases far far before the UK, which seemed to changed to almost a one-after-the-other effect in recent years, possibly due to DVD releases and piracy.

Having the US on 5th October and GB on 24th November is a stupid amount of time.

50 DAYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
