VENICE - THE REAL "BLADE RUNNER"
After 25 years come back restored the mythical movie of Ridley Scott.
Restored, remastered, without voiceover narration,
with deleted scenes and the soundtrack in 5.1 come back after 25 years Blade Runner. That the Ridley Scott considers the 'definitive version' is presented in worldwide preview to the Venice film festival.

What strikes me about these photos is that Ridley ages very well. I can't say the same of former god Hauer.

So why was Italy chosen for the big premiere of the Final Cut?
I had the foolish notion it would be shown in LA and NY around October as planned? (It still is, from what I know. And I am still a little bothered we don't get a full US theatre release...)

because after cannes and academy awards, there is venice film festival in the most important events about cinema worldwide.
