Just a quick update on the project:

We are finalizing episode 1 and started filming some shots from episode 2.
I will be sitting down with the director after viewing the work print and deciding what needs to be completed and updated CG wise.

Also, The Blade Runner Chronicles project is being covered by the media in several forms.

One of them is the science fiction magazine Cinefantastique, now known as CFQ http://www.cfq.com/ . We will be covered in the May issue. This is very exciting news for us. This magazine has been around for many years and in 1982 they published the definitive article on the theatrical film. It's an honor for us to be in the same pages!

Also The Sun, a tabloid from the UK will be running a story on fan films, and we will be included.

The third is an online magazine called "The Inside Report" is planning on doing a large article about us (online video presentation), and they would like to interview everyone involved. Directors' producers, actors, CG artists, etc.

The forth is the "Online Entertainment" magazine.

Online Entertainment wrote:The Blade Runner Chronicles: It would take a fool to try and follow in Ridley Scott?s footsteps and the team of Noeland Collins and Sean Kennedy are just those kinds of fools! In their own words, director Collins and CG producer Kennedy provide an inside look at the challenges, exhilaration and trepidation in creating a webisodic series set in the world of Blade Runner.

Needless to say we're pretty hyped.

He tells me that the 2nd trailer for The Blade Runner Chronciles is forth coming by Monday ... I will still have to convert it to Quicktime MOV format and low res WMV before I can post it on the site.

He and I (and the rest of the crew) have been keeping busy with the fan film, as well as helping out other people involved with the chronicles with their personal projects. One is a fan film about Aliens.

Our prop builder is working on the spinner interior set. I haven't heard how that's going. I know he has done some cool video displays for the monitors inside.

I have some photos at home from recent filming date but have not had the spare time to update the website... I need to get that done pretty quick here.

The CFQ with our article is supposedly come out, but I cannot find a local vendor that carries it.

The premiere issue of Online Entertainment has an article on us. (http://www.onlineentertainmentmag.com/) Unfortunately, it has not been shipped out yet.

Hello everyone, sorry I have been absent from the boards for a while. My brother passed away in January, and about three weeks ago a very close friend passed away, and I have been involved with helping her daughter take care of her estate.

The project is still very much alive and well, and we are going to be shooting again in a few weeks. The spinner set is currently on hold (in pieces I should say) because we no longer have a location to build sets, but will find another one in a matter of weeks.

I sat down to finalize a new trailer for the first chapter "Skine Trade" and decided that I wanted to include footage from other chapters that we have shot, so I am currently re-editing a longer trailer that will represent the entire project.

Won't be too much longer to wait folks, and THANK YOU ALL for your continued support for this project. Means a whole lot guys.

We have a rough assembly of the first chapter done and I don't mind saying that I am very proud of it and I really can't wait to show everyone what the finished film will be.

I emailed Bentley recently about the original score, and I think you guys will be just as excited by his music as you are by the film itself. Guy's a genius.

I have been laying his music over the unedited CG work of Treybor here and I like it so much I plan to give them their own section on the DVD so everyone can enjoy the CG uncut, untouched.

We're in this for the long haul, and we're going to make sure it is worth the wait. Thanks again everyone!!

I can't wait to see this fan film. But it's worth the wait. I've learned that the longer a product is being made the better it's going to be.

lets not go there. Alien Vs predator....need i say more? a decade in the making, its been in pre-production since the early 90's. its not a abd movie, but it just doesnt live up to the potential of the predator/alien name.

episode 1 and 2 (star wars) more than a decade in the making. not too bad, but still not up to par with the originals.

but this isnt a hollywood production, so you could be right.

Let's also remember, Hollywood doesn't have day jobs and only shoot on weekends!
The new trailer is in the final stages of editing and I think it is sure to wet everyone's appitite!
I lay awake at night gazing up into the night sky, looking at the stars and the moon as I think to myself: "Where the hell is my ceiling?!?"

yeah, that's what they said with Robocop 3, lol.

how long does it take to edit a trailer? when can we expect it to be online? remember, dont sacrifice quality for file size, we have bittorrent to ease the pain of large downloads.
