Now I'm sure this has been talked about a lot before, but what is everyones favorite scene from the Blade Runner movie? I have 2 I think. The first being the ones at the begining with Deckard, he's just such a stone cold attitude. I just thought he looked really cool then. Like when he's watching that slide show, and it looks as though he's got like a smile/confused look on his face. I thought it was cool. Or another favorite of mine is where Roy Batty breaks Eldon Tyrells neck and then starts to like gouge out his eyes or something. It is kind of disgusting, but adds to the desperetness of the replicants.
I am looking forward to hearing everyone elses favorite scene!

Tim

The entire segment when "Blade Runner Blues" begins to play. Deckard steps out into his balcony while sipping his drink and contemplates the rainy, neon metropolis he lives in.

The whole start seqence (not Leon) was great, no words needed to tell the story.

The scene in the lift with Roy and J.F..
"Milk and Cookies keeping you awake?"..I love the look on their faces!
Also yes, the whole scene where Deckard steps out onto his balcony, and the chase after Zhora..hell the whole damn film!

I agree with Endzem. the scene when Deckard steps out on this balcony is my favorite , with the spinner flying by sipping a drink.
Pass me some Johnny Walker..

I don't like to limit to just one scene as there are many that grab me differently depending on my mood. For instance Roy's final speech is great, but so is the balcony scene sometimes. And sometimes the beginning sequence just gives me chills down my spine.

But to play along, I like to mention a scene that is easily bypassed sometimes - the first meeting of Deckard and Racheal "Do you like our owl?" Just listen to the sounds, the atmosphere of that room, the owl, the replicant who as yet doesn't know she is meeting for the first time this killer of replicants... The playing of Rachael - see her dancing verbally around Deckard. And Deckard, so sure of his puepose and yet in many ways willing his belief to be true, to bury his true feelings. Tyrell entering, splitting the pair and yet full of secrets. The echoes of his power ringing around his domain that is due to end so shortly and yet he is so full of himself. And the owl quietly looks on - symbol of intelligence and yet innately ignorant. The real and artificial mingling as we ourselves get deceived with Deckard miming taking out the V-K machine and echoes of spiders to hint at future elements of the film.

It's all there in that scene.

"The owl is artificial. There are no owls".

The owls were the first to die after the dust, and therefore the most valuable and rare..deceased more than likely.
Its name in the book is Scrappy.
