This may be stupid to you H.C.-B.R. fans, but I wanted to throw out an idea to see what people think. This is the only forum I have found to spit my thoughts. Pardon my innacurate acounts of any B.R. details. (and my horrible spelling) <BR> Most aparent stuggle in B.R. is the omnipresent death looming over all living matter- replicant or human. Or the stuggle, as I remember Decker saying in the voice over version, to find where one comes from, where one's going, how long do we have?<BR> All true battles in B.R., though, what of the power stuggle between the life and his maker; Roy and Tyrell. The maker, Tyrell, produces a life, "twice as bright" as any other replicant, calling him, "the prodical son" meaning that Tyrell is father, maker and master of Roy. In the highly climactic scene where, for the first time, Roy and Tyrell meet, one sees the clash-the pivitol joint of the movie where father meets son, or life meets maker, man meets God. Confirm my idea by noting the only cuss word uttered, rather shouted in the whole movie was by Roy during this scene, "I want more life, _Fucker!_" Who does one ask for life?- God. Then the ultimate happens, life-form takes away light of maker, by first putting out his eyes, then taking life from the one who gave him life. Does anyone feel anything about this, man takes Gods life!? I truely want to know anyones take on this. I feel like I have something here but I need confrimation and more to go on, help! <BR>

"I want more life, ****er".<BR><BR> Tyrell playing "God" ..." #ucking " with life in the name of commerce, business, a profit, status...and so on. Tyrell wasn't about to dilvulge to anyone...let alone Roy, on how to extend the life of a replicant (if he could). After the brief discussion of "why" he can't change the life span once made, Eldon humours Roy with dialog fit to "heal" a childs' hurt... Roy, to Tyrell, being "emotionally inexperienced". However, Roy probably saw through this charade.<BR><BR>But, as a "child" in other ways, Roy was distraught and rebelled with his instincts to kill Tyrell. (`If I'm not going to live any longer...neither are you`, kinda thing)<BR><BR>That's some of my interrpretations on that particular scene.
