Hai, is Cantonese (Traditional Chinese: 屄 or 閪; jyutping: hai1) is a common vulgar word that literally means vagina.

On the "Dangerous Days" documentary...Olmos says what that phrase means. Anyone else remember?

This is the scene where the above phrase is used:

This is where they talk of the origin of Cityspeak:

Actually he says "Hai, bakatare." Which is pure Japanese and basically means, "Yes, you goddamn fool."

Thanks Msgeek!

Kipple, I just watched the doc again the other day...I don't remember him actually saying what Hai Bakatare meant, but they did go into a good deal about the origins of cityspeak, which is why I came here.

Now we need our own board version. Boardyspeak!

Cityspeak is just a mixture with foreign languages
together,here is a pure"bakabakashi"example:

"cityspeakin"with Gaff:
Gaff
-Deckard-san onegashimasu,did usted soka-pinkanela last Nuit?
Deckard:
-E inda por cima,Dwi'n codi'n gynnar bob dydd,
Gaff
after that...im gonna kill myself

ps:no "badwords" were used during this dialogue.
