Has anyone else here watched Blade Runner in a theatre or on a video projector? You should do it if you get the chance. The brilliant cinematography by Ridley Scott and Jordan Cronenweth SHOULD be seen this way (but must be seen)

This questiom seems to surface every few months - saw it about 1995 (prolly, earlier - my memory's fading now) - director's cut (obviously) here in the UK - watched it twice - loved every minute...

This was with the UCI cinema chain who went through a phase of showing 80's films.

I saw Predator I and II back to back in the same session.

Back to the Future I,II and III in the same sitting.

Same for Alien, Aliens and Aliens 3.

Same for Indiana I, II and III.

Starwars IV, V and VI.

Didn't do Star Trek I thru VII (over 10 hours)...

Look out for 'single sitting' sessions...

...pester your local cinema, they might do you a favour...

I saw the original and the Directors cut on the big screen, now I project Blade Runner at home onto a 72" grey screen.
Best way to see this movie. But when I first saw Blade Runner back in the mid/late eighties, and consequently was blown away by it, it was on a 14" portable..

I dunno if I could sit still that long, Deckard...Might be a good idea not to buy the big gulp at the concession stand.

Technically speaking they weren't single sittings - there were 10 minute breaks in between each film...

Still, everyone else is gonna be trying to use the can at that same moment. Something to ponder.

Saw it when it came out. Saw it again last year on an IMAX screen, but it was an aging print and didn't make the most of the screen, so was not as good as it might have been. I'm hoping for a general cinema release at the end of the year - to see the new cut and experience it as it was intended.
