Hi all,

I have spent some considerable time surfing the Net to acquire Bladerunner/Bladerunner related resources for a variety of purposes, such as images, wallpapers, audio snippets and icons. However, no matter where I look I don't seem to be able to find any really good quality icons.

Any recommendations?

Ps. If a thread like this already exists, please accept my apologies, I did peruse the forums first but didn't find anthing.

Unless someone directs you to some, I'll post the ones I have.

As far as "quality"...please be more specific.

I'll post them up this weekend.

Cheers.

Hi, I have a few icons etc but when I refer to "quality" what I mean is the newer XP/Vista/true colour standard of icons rather than the older 16/32bit icons I currently have. Nothing wrong with the older format, it would just be nice to have some newer looking icons :D

Thanks for the link Gene Ettix and thanks for the icons Kipple

Look forward to your posting and thanks in advance.

I'm afraid I only have older icons. And I can't seem to upload them. I'd need to convert them...or look for the original zip files.

However, most of the icons I personally use are located here:
http://www.themeworld.com/cgi-bin/previ ... blade4.zip

I have a pointer of Deckard. When it is at "work" he shoots his blaster. It is Greg Bravo's located here:
http://media.bladezone.com/contents/bin ... hemes.html

For the background I use the Tyrell interior building from the Westwood pak, also available from the page above.

Maybe someone can create "newer" icons?

Cheers.

Thanks for the links Kipple, have downloaded a lot of useful material from them.

When I have time, I might consider making some "newer" icons, but it won't be for a while, hopefully someone will be me to it

Thanks again

Hi All,

I have noticed on the forum lots of references to fan-made music or "bootleg" versions of Blade Runner music but whenever I click on the links to download these, the link is dead. Are there any links out there that are still current and active?

What I am also after are sound effects from the movie....anyone know where I might be able to get these (I have a few but not many after doing a Google search). I would especially love to get hold of a sample of the opening to Blade Runner, from the initial drum beat, makes my hair stand on end :)

Thanks for any help

Sharkoid

Another option maybe make it icons with a good editor like Icon Workshop Editor or so. Any icon editor can produce good quality XP icons from 24-bit images. I've used it to made my Web favicon icons and so.

Well, I have some of these bootlegs edited in CD. like Gongo edition, Esper editions (there are 2), or Reflections. Some are only BR based, others have some yet published themes and others of cuestionable quality and value.

All others are in the same line. Except the official editions, I didn't found any of remarkable value till now.

Hope this helps!

Regards
