Fine examples of how the past blends with the future so well in BR to create a noirish high-tech. Thanks, ijustdoeyes... and, Greetings! :)

Incidently, from my experiences, BRAUN still makes high-quality products meant to last, as opposed to so many things created today to eventually malfunction and be replaced. I've purchased their products in Germany,Austria, etc., and here in the U.S., as well. (and, No I don't work for them
It wouldn't surprise me if those things made in 1970 worked just fine in 2019 8)

I would like to thank all those who have bothered to view my topic on the
use of Braun products..Although the quality of today's Braun product design would be questionable the designers like Dieter Rams(he is retired now) is highly regarded as one of the pioneers of good,honest,no-nonsense minimalist design.
Braun's product design style can still be seen today...you just have to look at the Apple products.
You may also like to know that Braun is now part of the Gillette group.
Thank you...

wow thanks ijustdoeyes! very, very interesting, especially for a minimalist kind of guy like me. i'm not surprised that those design objects from the '70s still look absolutely "in theme" in a future-based movie. minimalism is the key to a long life. i once read something like: "To reach perfection, you must take off, not add".

btw, i always wondered what's that white, slant object in the I Am The Business scene, see pics below, right between Rachael and Deckard:

I think there is another AB1 alarm clock in this scene, just when Deckard enters Leon's room. What do you think?
