Things I've Learned From Blade Runner

• It’s not very sporting to fire on an unarmed opponent

• You really only need to eat two shrimp not four

• They don't advertise for killers in the newspaper

• It’s painful to live in fear

• The star that burns twice as bright burns half as long

Nothing is worse than having an itch you can never scratch.
Yes, I really live in Los Angeles. Srsly. And yeah, life really does imitate art here. Especially now we've got those video billboards. No spinners yet. But I suppose that's next.

One of the most important lessons I've learned from Blade Runner is that if you're not cop, you're little people

After another viewing it turns out that:

• Milk and cookies can keep you awake

• VK tests cannot determine whether or not you’re a lesbian

and

• It's not an easy thing to meet your maker

This needs to become a t-shirt.

Everything I need to know, I learned from Blade Runner.

* It’s not very sporting to fire on an unarmed opponent.
* You really only need to eat two shrimp not four.
* They don't advertise for killers in the newspaper.
* It’s painful to live in fear.
* The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long.
* I think, therefore I am.
* Nothing is worse than having an itch you can never scratch.
* If you're not cop, you're little people.
* Milk and cookies can keep you awake.
* Voight-Kampf tests cannot determine whether or not you’re a lesbian.
* It's not an easy thing to meet your maker.

There are so many lessons to be learned from BR which is just one more reason it's such a classic. For instance, aside from what I've mentioned above I've also learned:

If you're stupid, you’ll die

You’ve gotta shoot straight but straight doesn't seem to be good enough.

That sector is closed to ground traffic

If you can afford a real snake you don’t have to work at a place like Taffey’s

Replicants are like any other machine. They're either a benefit or a hazard

and Bishop to King 7 is Checkmate

*Smoking won't affect the Voight-Kampff test.

*Never, ever, under any circumstances, ask a Replicant (who knows they are a replicant) about their Mother!

* A new life awaits me in the Off-World colonies.

* Unless I'm alive, I can't play.

* I'd be surprised what a guy'd go through to get a glimpse of a beautiful body. (OK, well, maybe not... ;) )

According to J.F. Sebastian, there's no housing shortage in L.A.2019... Plenty of room for everybody.
