On a preview show on British tv last week, the next episode of Dr Who was described as being like Blade Runner.
Can't wait to see the interpretation.

Well the writer was definitely inspired by Blade Runner. The idea for the set and the rain, the flying vehicles and one looked like a spinner. The weapon looked as if it was also modeled on the Blaster. There is also a verbal reference when the Doctor David Tennant refers to Blade Runner.
I have recorded it and will get the relevant bits on youtube as soon as poss, hopefully tomorrow.

That episode Gridlock is in the new series three box set out in the UK.
I've bought it for *ahem* my son for Christmas.
There's a couple of really good episodes in series three. Blink and the double-header of Human Nature and The Family Of Blood are excellent.
