Who is your favorite character from the movie, whether it be a major character or one that appears in only one or two scenes? Why?

Personally, I liked Zhora best, I think. I tend to admire females who kick a**.

I'd say Gaff, but I'm not really sure. Might be Leon. Let's make it Gaff and Leon.

I refuse to prefer anybody over the others.

But I don't like Holden. Typical limited cop with "let's air the damn skinjobs out and have a Budweiser" attitude.

It could very well be gaff today and rick tomorrow and rach yesterday. Sometimes I hate seeing what actors look like today compared to the past when they were at the top of there game( harrison, shaun, rutger) It's too bad they want live

This is going to sound very cliche, but for me it is Deckard and Rachel.

As much as I like Deckard, I think I have to say Roy/Rutger.
He does the most changing and evolving of any character in the film, and like any great film villain, is the most complex.
Hauer's acting shows the most range, even within a single scene, from one second to the next. Grief, Pain, Anger, Disappointment, Fear, Confusion, Enjoyment, Pleasure, Savoring his experiences.
Don't get me wrong, I like Harrison ford and the character he portrayed very much, but from a writing and character development perspective, Roy seems, to me, to be the richest as far as depth of character and journey.

Preferred? Wow. All. Whithout them, no movie will be so magnifient!
But... this is not the answer, isn't?
Deckard is a nice character. Only a man, not superhero. Rachael and Holden are in the list of "not so good for me, sorry". Taffy is magnifique! And Batty... an extremely well done hauer's work. No doubt. Deckard or Batty? Difficult to say... adding they real lives, Hauer. Ever.
