I must confess... I have no idea where you're going with this conversation, but I'll comment on this last bit:

Deckard was basically being arrested by a cop and a Blade Runner to be escorted to the police station, whether he wanted to or not. If he would've gotten up from the noodle bar and started running away, they would surely have pursued him until he was caught.
Deckard reminded Bryant that he had already quit and it's obvious he did not want to do what was being asked of him. Bryant said Deckard didn't have any choice, so he was being forced to do the job.

I thought about what you're saying here right after I wrote this above and I reckon I should have remembered this ,that bryant was definately using his athority to force him to do the work of going after these replicants and deck said,nararating(intern. version) how it was true what bryant said about cops and little people .I think it's good to note that after being a br for so long ,it's what deck was best at (although he didn't run as fast as he used to) and it's probably one of the reasons he's not with his wife anymore,(spent most of his time with his work) ,kinda like the cop in the movie heat with al pachino. When he met rachel, he begain to seek out a new life instead of chasing bad guys all day. He had found a reason to live and he probably eventually stopped drinking his sorrows away . (nternational version) remember when the light shines forth in the happy ending ,to me this light and place was a place that deck and his new love had found, the rain had passed and they were onto some greener pastures. :idea:

you know . the masonic lodge ,they have hats with tassals similar to that and ride small motorcycles in parades and alot of times are heavy set and it is ,i must say , some spectacle. There's also alot of dark stuff that goes on behind closed doors from what i heard that i don't need to know about . google it . They say that subway is a place to eat when you are on a diet,no big deal! I reckon i was just telling you "what " crossed my mind.

this porch reminds me of the one deck and his wife were standing on in 1 of the deleted scenes that show him holding another picture. I'll have to go back and look ,...any thing on this people?

Has anyone noticed 2 white masks in the glass case in deck's apartment ? .Someone with their detail talent might be telling us something. Any sugestions?...You may see them right before deckard dreams...

How does Batty learn Deckard's name?

Replicants are referred to by their first names: -Pris, Rachael, Roy, etc.

Humans are called by their last names: -Holden, Gaff, Bryant, etc.

If Deckard is supposed to be a Replicant, why is he called by his last name?

Is Gaff his last name for sure?

Taffy Lewis is called by both names(and later just "Taffy"), does that mean he is part replicant?

Most of the Human characters that are called by their last name all seem to be in positions of authority, so it makes sense to call them by their last names. I think it is mostly coincidence and means nothing more.

In the early scripts Batty had tapped into the police computer and was able to stay one step ahead of the cops. It probably just got forgotten about after the scenes were deleted.

There are a lot of Heads and Faces in Deckard's apartment. Most seem to be Buddha's or based upon Buddhist art. The two white face seem to be Geisha's, but also echo the look of the Buddha heads. maybe it is supposed to give us an idea that Deckard is searching for his spirituality, or maybe he just shops at Pier 1 imports.

By the way, face images are often used in film to give a feeling of paranoia, and also considered bad Feng Shui.
