Boy, would I like this photo

Hello all,
I am getting back into Blade Runner and I would love to buy a color photo of Harrison from the first few pages of Future Noir. It is an almost full body shot with the jacket pulled back and the butt of the gun sticking out. Please help.

I just don't get it. This guy has 100 8x10 Blade Runner photos @ $10 each (I'm assuming he can make as many duplicates as he wants) - where has he got them from? Surely you need the rights to duplicate and sell these images? So, is that it - has he bought the rights to produce and sell these images? And if not, isn't he in danger of being sued?

Here's his ebay link.

And just like that, thank you. Now how about pointing me in the direction of those license plates Phil used to sell, and a VK machine, and a coat, and etc...

Regarding license plates...just copy the image and select an online platemaker, and voila'!

One example here.

now for the incredibly lame, would anyone be willing to email a decent photo of the police spinner or Deckard's sedan to do just that, or am I being too lazy?

I have had a similar idea as far as recreating a plate...

1st step read this articleat Blade Zone and find a suitable plate...

I personally like this one...

The type face for this plate is also available for download on blade zone

or you can do deckards

.. then once you have the size you can bring it to a vinyl decal place ...even some larger Kinko's stores can do it for you and then have it laid out on sheet metal or even magnetic backing to put it on the back of your car...

Viola...your BR geekdome is complete...welcome to the fold

take a look at some of the typestyles I found at this site I found when i "googled" Vinyl Letters

I had a feeling that the propmakers used pre-exhisting Reflective(or scotch-lite) vinyl letter for the signs...so if we look hard enough we might find the actual ones used in production for authenticity. The Letters on the standard plates look like eurostyle or microstyle or some version of.

A lot of sign making places also have the equiptment to cut them out in sheets for a few dollars a square foot using vector graphic files(like true type).

I am also wondering if the plates were made out of metal at all...or instead a vinyl sign backing(maybe ben, phil or gary could help us out?)

Using the same reflective material you could cut out the spinner decales as well...

a hell of a lot easier than what what I was talking about :)

Three questions...

What Size are they?

And are they printed on or with reflective Vinyl?

And do you take personal checks?
