thank you for your generosity pureimpure.
i have been looking for way to get this for a long time now... but without enabling the greed. hopefully my 10-minute crash-course in torrent will allow me to at long last watch this video.
you're a true fan.

OMG, you rulzors! When I get home tonight, I'll jump into the mix and seed for a while too. If you are currently the only seed, you might want to try "super-seed" mode for a while (if your client can do it). It helps spread the initial seeding to the fastest peers first among other things. Thanks again!

okay, after stopping and starting again and again, i finally got it downloaded about 4 days ago. ive had it up for a seed ever since. i took my seed off because i was restoring my bad windows partition, i put my seed back up and it says there are no seeds.
whats up? we got a bunch of leechers? no one wants to contribute? it looks like a dead torrent now, there's been no activity for a few hours now.when i was getting it, there were 13 people getting it. that means there should be 13 seeds, am i right? isnt that how torrent works? you download from others, and then seed when its done to help contribute back to the network? am i missing something here? [/rant]
-edit- right as i hit the submit button, i got 1 peer downloading. im so tempted to cancell it since its going to take him a while (a few days at least) to get it at 3 kb/sec.

What a shame... seems like there's no strong sense of community.
I'd gladly seed, if I could... But no, I'm not that 1 peer downloading from your seed. Damn, actuallyI can' t even leech... I do no torrents at all because these days I have even less internet access than I had before. And I'm dying to see On The Edge, since it came out

i seeded for several days. unfortunately i can no longer seed. i wasnt kidding about a crash-course in bit torrent. i knew enough to download, run it, and let it seed.
using your personal laptop for work & home & being wireless at home & at work can present some interesting situations... especially when you forget to turn off your p2p activity...
a network firewall breach might cost me my job.
currently my CPU is at HQ in DC - and i am SOL.
sorry guys, when i get it back i will seed again (borrowing this to write).
any lawyers out there? this is a nightmare.

Thanks for this, I am currently seeding but there is no one connected to me.
If your client is Bit Tornado or Shadow's then be sure and change your settings to "seeder" after you finish the download.

this might be sprouting off topic, but the best torrent client ive seen is azureus, it automatically seeds after the download is finished. there's also plugins to integrate azureus into firefox and other apps.
its coming alive again, we have 5 seedsand this morning there were 6 downloaders (peers).

How do you get it to run, I don't understand. Theres just a bunch of bin and cue files.
