More BR References in Star Wars...

Well, sort of...

...while watching the 'enhanced' Returned of the Jedi, I spotted this in the 'new' ending. Any familiar looking buildings in that DVD grab? :)

Also, see the BZ Star Wars tie-ins article (needs some maintenance).

I noticed that too. Strange how there are so many tie-ins between popular sci fi films. Perhaps it an homage. I know for a fact that structures used in the SW films were cleverly hidden in the LA scenes during the first ten minutes of BR.

yes, but did you catch the spinner in episode 1? there's a nice star wars/blade runner article provided on the bladezone website. a really nice read.

just watched "empire" again. im 100% sure about this now, listen carefully when luke and vader fight. when luke walks down those empty corridors, and you can hear the electronic hums, you can hear the blade runner/alien hum included. it may not sound like it at first, but keep watching, youll here it by itself.

except that ESB came out in 1980 and BR in '83, so its not really the BR hum so much as the ESB hum.

and alien came out when? oh, thats right, i dont think it really matters, as its all the same sound in all 3 movies. may not be a reference, but it's there.
