OC vs. DC Real-Time Side-By-Side Comparison *Vid*

(Alright, I'm new here, so forgive me if I've broken any rules. Just let me know, and I'll fix whatever problems I might have caused.)
Original Cut vs. Director's Cut Side-By-Side Comparison Vid
First, let me say that I know the whole Original Cut vs. Director's Cut thing has been beaten to death, and I know that every true die-hard BR fan knows the differences between the two. That said, I was nonetheless inspired to personally dive into the differences in a big way recently, which then gave me an interesting idea. I mean, it is really interesting to actually watch BOTH versions simultaneously because it gives you a better feel for how the differences really impact the movie (the most obvious one being voiceover vs. no voiceover).
Anyway, the idea was to create a full-length version of BR where both versions are composited together on the SAME screen at once. Then I would line up the tracks as best I could, fixing any out-of-sync or differences where needed between the two. Futhermore, I would downmix each versions audio from stereo to mono, then pan each mono audio track from each version to a different speaker. So the downmixed OC mono sound would come out of only the LEFT speaker, and the DC would only come out of the RIGHT speaker. This would make it even easier to do the direct, real-time comparison.
This is no trivial task. First, you need both movies, then you need to composite them on the same screen, trying to keep both's full widescreen aspect ratio. And then, you need to deal with the soundtracks, and finally render. I had no idea if I could actually do something like this, so I set off to attempt a "proof-of-concept" if you will -- AND I WAS SUCCESSFULL!!!
So, now, I'm curious what people think of this idea? I'm also curious to know if anything like this has been done before? Finally, I'm curious to know if people would be more interested in a version that is FULL-LENGTH (huge file, probably not legal to re-distribute?) or a version that just highlights the differences (smaller file, might be able to re-distribute?)?

Also, please remember, I'm working with the raw materials I have access to, so this isn't so much about QUALITY as it is an experiment in creating a real-time, side-by-side comparison.
