Blade Runner new soundtrack: if you were making a new soundt

I'm not sure what existing songs I would want to keep and which ones I would discard. Imagine if BR had an orchestral score, by someone like John Williams, James Horner or perhaps Alan Silvestri. Wouldn't it be cool if, like Legend, BR had two different soundtracks? The 'contemporary' soundtrack by Vangelis and a 'classical' orchestra score by someone else?<BR><BR>Of course, if BR were being released today, the studio would demand that it have a more mainstream soundtrack with songs done by current popular artists as well as a 'cool' main title track that could be released on the radio. <IMG SRC="/forum/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif"> <BR><BR>But enough of my cynical thoughts. I firmly think that there has been no half decent stuff made after the 1980's. Bar flim music (which, in the hands of James Horner, John Williams and Jerry Goldsmtih, is just pleaseure on a stick). Here beginngs lots of people saying 'Rubbish!':
